Experts Introduction

Wei dong-ning Professor, chief physician, supervisor of master student, director of the MG treatment centre and department of neurology. Served as committee member of neurological specialty group of PLA, member of evaluation committee for qualification test of medical professionals of PLA, standing member of stroke prevention association of Beijing. Experienced in cerebrovascular disease, headache, epilepsy, infection of central nervous system, disease of peripheral nerve. Proficient in treating neuromuscular disorder, i.e. MG, idiopathic muscular atrophy. He has completed 5 scientific projects, published more than 40 articles, and has been granted 3 awards of army science-technology and medical achievement award. And he is in charge of 2 military tenth five-year subjects.
   
Zhang wen-hua Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, is incumbent deputy director of the treatment center of myasthenia gravis of People's Liberation Army No. 309 Hospital as well as the expert team leader, academic leader and head of research projects. Born in the Chinese medicine family, graduated from Hunan Medical College in 1974, returned to his alma mater for advanced study from 1984 to 1985, learnt from Professor WANG Xue Tai who was the Chairman of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies in 1987, he is engaged in the research and clinical application of Yuan-Cun moxibustion for over 40 years. In 1989, as the subject of ‘Yuan-Cun moxibustion’, the establishment of Institute of Acupuncture was supported by Provincial Administration of TCM and Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine; he is a member of China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion, deputy director of Professional Committee of China's Special Moxibustion, member of Acupuncture Moxibustion branch of China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion, executive member of Hunan Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, member of standing committee of Chinese Seminar for Specific Medicine, member of International (Hong Kong) Association of Specific Medicine. He has published papers and clinical reports of acupuncture and moxibustion more than 20 in the ’ China Acupuncture ’,’ International Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation’ , ‘Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion’, ‘Hunan Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine’,’ Hunan Guiding Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology’. He has exchanged academic experiences with experts and scholars of the United States Delegation Rolf massage, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand; he has books of ‘China Yuan-Cun moxibustion’,’ Solutions for Acupuncture’ and so on. Yuan-Cun moxibustion is used for brain emergency and myasthenia gravis as well as prevention and treatment of more than fifty-eight diseases such as internal medicine and surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, etc.
   
Dou yun-ke Associate chief physician, associate professor. Graduated from medical university of Hunan. More than 20 years experience of cardiovascular thoracic surgery. Once learned in Anzhen hospital of Beijing, institute of cardiac surgical research, San Matteo, PAVIA and department of cardiac surgery of SONDALO hospital. Good at diagnosing and treating minimally invasive thymectomy and complicated disease of cardiovascular thoracic surgery. Proficient in surgical treatment for MG, congenital cardiopathy, diseases of great vessels, rheumatic valvular heart disease, esophageal carcinoma, lung cancer, mediastinal mass, tumors of chest wall, thoracic trauma, etc. No myasthenic crisis occurred in the surgical treatment of over 200 patients since foundation of the MG centre in our hospital.
   
Chen bing Associate chief physician, Master of Science in Medical Science, member of professionals of MG treatment centre of 309 hospital of PLA. Engaging in neurology for 18 years and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of MG, cerebrovascular disease, disease of central nervous system, parasitic infection, headache and dizziness.
   
Li shao-hua Associate chief physician. Graduated from Peking university. Experienced in combined therapy of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine for treating complicated diseases, especially good at treating neuromuscular disorder, i.e. MG, idiopathic muscular atrophy.
   
Geng xiao-fei Associate chief physician, master of science in medical science, associate director of MG treatment centre of 309 hospital of PLA and department of neurology. Experienced in diagnosing and treating acute cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage, intraarterial and intravenous thrombolysis for cerebralthrombosis, degenerative disease of CNS, migraine.
